Pengembangan Buku Pengayaan Menulis Teks Biografi Bermuatan Nilai Humanis Bagi Peserta Didik Kelas X SMA

Abstract

The learning materials for writing biographical texts in schools still do not support learning activities, so they need to be developed. Material development can be realized in an enrichment book. This study aims to describe the prototype form of an enrichment book for writing biographical texts with humannism values for grade 10th grade of senior high school students. Research and Development (R&D) is used as the mothod of the research. There are five stages of this study, they are: (1) potentials and problems, (2) data analysis, (3) product design, (4) design validation, and (5) design revision. The results of this study include (1) the outcomes of the analysis of the needs of students and teachers, (2) the characteristics of enrichmen book, (3) the prototype of the enrichment book, and (4) the provision and suggestions of improvements to the prototype of the enrichment book to write biographies. The conclusion of this study is an enrichment book for writingt biographical text with humanism values for students to be used as an additional reference in learning writing biographical text, which can be used by teachers to instill humanism values to students in everyday life both in the school environment and the community, and for other researchers, can conduct further research to test the effectiveness of enrichment books of writing biographical texts with humanism values for grade 10th grade of senior high school students.
