New and interesting species of the lichen genus Pertusaria from southern South America

Abstract

The following two new lichen species are described and illustrated: Pertusaria formosensis Messuti & A.W. Archer from Argentina and Pertusaria valdiviana Messuti & A.W. Archer from Chile. Pertusaria tropica Vainio is recorded for the first time for Argentina.
