Abstract
The purpose of the study was to analyze the implementation of Law No. 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation in the Central Java Region and to analyze the obstacles and solutions to the implementation of the Act. The method used is empirical juridical, with primary and secondary data. The implementation of Law Number 22 of 2009 includes conducting traffic education from an early age, it will be very beneficial for the next generation of the nation. By knowing the traffic rules, traffic violations can be avoided. education about traffic signs must continue. Traffic education and introduction to traffic signs can be started from kindergarten to university level. Not only school children who must get traffic education but the general public must also get it. With this socialization and explanation of the orderly traffic, it is hoped that students and the public can know and comply with traffic regulations correctly. By complying with traffic signs, it will be able to reduce the rate of traffic accidents and not endanger other road users. The obstacles are that there are several public vehicles that are not roadworthy, many violations related to the use of helmets, safety belts, and not complying with existing traffic signs. The solution needs to be more intensive socialization related to the Traffic Law.
