Are COVID-19 Vaccine Boosters Needed? The Science behind Boosters

Abstract

Waning vaccine-induced immunity coupled with the emergence of SARS-CoV-2 variants has led to increases in breakthrough infections, prompting consideration for vaccine booster doses.
