Abstract

The fashion industry has a significant environmental impact on a global scale; it employs a large proportion of the world's workers and accounts for a large share of global exports. Based on our findings, proactive and reactive environmental strategies, sustainability orientation, green entrepreneurial orientation, green innovation and circular economy strategies are crucial strategic drivers for the corporate environmental sustainability of the fashion industry. Some recommendations to overcome these challenges are also proposed in this chapter.
