Abstract
The syntheses, acid-catalysed rearrangements and demetallation chemistry of CpW(CO)3(η1-C=CR-CHR1-O-CH2) (R = CHCH2, C≡CPh; R1 = alkyl, phenyl; Cp = C 5H5) are reported, and their synthetic-utility in organic reactions is demonstrated.
