Las paradojas excluyentes del «lenguaje inclusivo»: Sobre el uso planificado del morfema flexivo -e

Abstract

Las redes sociales, los medios de comunicación y aun los claustros académicos del mundo hispánico registran ardorosos debates sobre varios aspectos del «lenguaje inclusivo». Se efectúa aquí un análisis del uso planificado del morfema -e para evocar el significado «género indistinto» o «sin género» en una frase sustantiva referida a un conjunto integrado por personas de más de un género. El nuevo morfema -e (y sus variantes acotadas a la escritura, -@ y -x) evitarían la opción por defecto del morfema masculino -o en dichos contextos. El mayor mérito del morfema -e es que consigue visibilizar el justo reclamo a favor de la igualdad de género de una manera poética, porque con él la comunicación se orienta al mensaje como tal. Sin embargo, el uso planificado del morfema -e afronta graves limitaciones y cae en paradojas que terminan haciéndolo inadecuado en varios tipos de situación.Alternative Kurzfassung:Social networks, the media and even academic centers of the Hispanic world register heated debates on various aspects of «inclusive language». Here, it is carried out a n analysis of the planned use of the morpheme -e with the meaning «indistinct gender» or «without gender» in a noun phrase referring to a group integrated by people of more than one gender. The new morpheme -e (and its exclusively written variants -@ and -x) would avoid the masculine morpheme -o as the default option in such contexts. The greatest merit of the use of the morpheme -e is that it makes visible the just claim in favor of gender equality in a poetic way, because it is oriented to the message as such. Nevertheless, the planned use of the morpheme -e faces serious limitations and falls into paradoxes that make it inappropriate in most types of situation.
