Abstract
This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows: To determine the efficacy of VTE prophylaxis versus no prophylaxis on thromboembolic events, mortality and adverse effects (bleeding, thrombocytopenia, serious hepatopathy) for acute spinal cord injury (SCI) patients. To compare the different types of management modalities of VTE prophylaxis with respect to thromboembolic events, mortality and adverse effects (bleeding, thrombocytopenia, serious hepatopathy) in acute spinal cord injury patients.
