Abstract

There have been many efforts to obtain high quality thin films of superconducting oxides for scientific research and electoronic application. In this report, short review of research activities on preparation of thin flms and properties of sputterd superconductring Ba2YCu307-γ are reported. 1)Thin films of Ba2YCu307-γ were grown epitaxially on SrTi03 single crystal substrates by the rf magnetron sputtering method. 2) Tc(zero reisitance temperature) was around 80k. 3) Anisotropy of resistivity was measured and the anisotropy factor of 34 at 100k was obtained. 4) The large critical current density of 1.8x1064/cm2 at 77.3k was realized. © 1987, Japan Society of Powder and Powder Metallurgy.
