Abstract

First, mathematical background of random matrix theory related to wireless communications is introduced; then the relationship between random matrix theory and wireless communications is addressed, and the question why the random matrix theory is important to wireless communications is answered; Finally, we take the performance analysis of DEC receiver with large dimensional system as an example, showing the huge power of random matrix theory to deal with the issues in wireless communications.
