Abstract

Introduction Host-pathogen interaction between Zika virus (ZIKV) and other medically relevant flaviviruses is a hot topic, in part due to the potential risk of disease exacerbation by antibody-dependent enhancement (ADE). Current data are controversial, thus care should be taken when facing this aspect of ZIKV infection, particularly during vaccine development.
