Abstract
Testosterone deficiency syndrome (TDS), unlike menopausal symptoms, tends not to be managed by general practitioners. Here the author argues that this approach is not logical given that the condition is not rare, and the biological importance of testosterone in men. In addition, there are clear guidelines that enable primary care physicians to meet the needs of TDS patients.
