Abstract

The Guide to Participatory Tools is primarily a product of the research project, “Stakeholders and Biodiversity in the Forest at the Local Level,” which is a collaborative effort between the Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation (SDC) and CIFOR. The project is the second of two initiatives between SDC and CIFOR that have worked to improve people’s livelihoods and contribute to sustainable forest management through action research. The
