Abstract
Neurilemmomas are benign and slow growing tumours. Neurilemmomas of the pterygopalatine fossa are rare. In this paper we present a case of schwannoma arising in the pterygopalatine fossa with extension into infratemporal fossa and floor of the orbit. A transantral approach was used for excision of the tumor following which the defect in the floor of the orbit was reconstructed with the help of a temporoparietal flap. © 2008 Association of Otolaryngologists of India.
