Abstract

patients through improving the quality of their care. Un- fortunately, there is still little evidence to support this belief. There is a general feeling that teams have not yet fulfilled THE development of primary health care teams is based on the belief that interdisciplinary teamwork benefits their full potential. There is a gap between intentions and actual activity on the ground. Much still needs to be done to improve the way individuals involved in primary health care collaborate to benefit patients.
