Primeiro Registro de Entoloma wednae V. Coimbra and Wartchow (Agaricales, Basidiomycota), para o Estado da Bahia, Brasil

Abstract

(First record of Entoloma wednae V. Coimbra and Wartchow (Agaricales, Basidiomycota) from the Bahia State, Brazil). The genus Entoloma includes species with agaricoid, secotioid and gasteroid basidiomes. In recent years, some studies have been conducted with this genus in the northeastern region of Brazil. In this context, the state of Bahia has only Entoloma serrulatum and E. cyathiforme. In order to contribute to the knowledge of this genus in the state, this work presents a new occurrence of Entoloma for the State of Bahia. The specimen was collected during an expedition in the Serra do Conduru State Park, in southern Bahia. After the morphological analyses, the species Entoloma wednae was identified. This is the first record of the species for the State, and the third record in the scientific literature.
