This study is aimed to analyze the appropriateness and effectiveness of NGSS-oriented PjBL learning kits to achieve student practices on planning & carrying out investigation and constructing explanation & designing solution. This study was research and development with ADDIED model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluation, Disseminate) modified from 4D and ADDIE model. Subjects of implement test were 32 students of X-IPA 1 (treatment class) and 26 students of X-IPA 4 (control class) in SMA Negeri 6 Yogyakarta. The effectiveness was analyzed with MANOVA with 0.05 significance level. It was concluded that NGSS-oriented PjBL learning kits are feasible to be implemented proved by value of lesson plan (3.67), worksheet (3.55), learning material (3.63), and evaluation test (3.75). Learning kits are effective for facilitating student to achieve student practices on PCOI and CEDS showed by significance value that less than 0.05.
