Rhabdomyolysis with acute kidney injury in a case of hanging

Abstract

Although well-known as a complication of other hypoxic conditions such as near drowning, status asthmaticus and carbon monoxide poisoning, rhabdomyolysis has not been reported in patients with hanging.
