Abstract

This text focuses on the experiences of solidarity economy produced in the public mental health system, through artistic and cultural creation. Its objective is to analyze the action of these initiatives, between the State and civil society, mobilizing resources for common use. In the context of psychiatric reform processes and the adoption of associations and common elements in mental health services, we analyze the practices of the psychosocial care network with civil society, which revalue cultural spaces and lead citizens to occupy the city. We conclude that the political rationality of the common goods is activated, through cooperative self-management, with the potential to democratize the territories in the cities, generating reciprocal interactions.
