Abstract

The citrus peel ethanolic extract shampoo was prepared via adding the ethanolic extract, soxhlet extracted from citrus peel into the shampoo matrix through an orthogonal experiment. Meanwhile, the foam height was determined by heat and cold stability test. The experimental results show that the citrus peel ethanolic extract in a ratio of 8.0% creates a favourable compatibility by the surface agent. There was no delamination after the samples have a heat and cold stability test for 24 h.
