Abstract
Since 2005, takaful products have been getting attention and growing substantially due to people who are vulnerable to health risk, especially women. This is because takaful products being offered to women have assisted in managing their financial risks, critical illnesses, etc. This study uses a content analysis on six product disclosure sheets of takaful offered by four takaful operators. In addition, this researcher has also collected data through interviews with Shariah officers, product development officers, and takaful agents to understand the whole structure of the product. The finding of this study shows that takaful products for women are in line with Maqāṣid al-Sharī‘ah.
