Abstract

The development of equations for the thermodynamic properties of a humid carbon dioxide atmosphere is described. The properties include the volume and enthalpy per kg dry carbon dioxide, the humidity ratio and the relative humidity, as well as the dryand wet-bulb temperatures. Psychrometric charts are presented for temperatures between 0°C and 100°C and for humidity ratios up to 90g moisture per kg dry carbon-dioxide. This domain was selected to cover the needs of applications in product storage and drying.
