Aquinas and the Sins of Ignorance

Abstract

The article discusses Saint Thomas Aquinas'ss account of the moral object with a particular focus upon his doctrine of sins of ignorance. It is opined that consideration must also be given to Aquinas's account of the imputation of sin. It mentions that Aquinas and the Roman Magisterium both affirm that there can be sins of ignorance.
