The purpose of the research is to identify and justify the indicators for evaluation and self-evaluation of students' readiness for self-organization. Materials and Methods. The authors apply theoretical analysis and synthesis of research papers, recognized by the scholarly community in the field of higher education; theoretical and practical methods of educational research; and methods of mathematical statistics. Results. The article clarifies the concept of “readiness for self-organization”, reveals the skills included in its structure, identifies indicators of evaluation and self-evaluation of students' readiness for self-organization, summarizes the results of developing components of readiness for self-organization in students.
