Abstract

This research aims to determine the factors related to clean and healthy living practices at the Ali An-Nafii Orphanage, Pekanbaru City. This type of research is quantitative analytical using a cross-sectional design. This research was conducted at the Ali An-Nafii Orphanage, Pekanbaru City. The population in this study were all children from orphanages with a sample size of 100 people (Total Sampling). The variables in this research are knowledge, attitudes, information media, and the role of the orphanage administrators. Data collection uses a questionnaire. Data analysis using univariate and bivariate analysis (chi-square test) with 95% CI. The mandatory output target to be achieved is national scientific publications. The results of the research show that there is a relationship between knowledge, attitudes, information media, the role of orphanage administrators, and the practice of clean and healthy living behavior at the Ali An-Nafii Orphanage, Pekanbaru City. It is hoped that the role of orphanage administrators in terms of PHBS practice is to provide exemplary behavior for orphanage children and also facilitate facilities and infrastructure for practicing PHBS in orphanages.
