Abstract
It is possible to grow single crystals of pyrochlore by heating powders of initial overall compositions TlI+α (NbI+αWI-αO6 with a flux in thallium satured vapour. Their composition is variable but the crystal structure of one of them shows that the sites occupied by thallium belong to three 32-fold equivalent positions of the cubic space group Fd3m and confirms the powder studies. © 1974.
