Abstract

This article aims to: conduct a literature review on Digital Teaching Competence to compose a reference portfolio of relevant scientific productions; characterize the state of knowledge on this topic through the systemic analysis of the surveyed portfolio; identify research opportunities on Digital Teaching Competence. For this purpose, the ProKnow-C method was used, which allowed through criteria defined in its stages, the selection of a bibliographic portfolio of prominent references in the international literature from the Web of Science and Scopus databases. This portfolio resulted in 47 relevant articles on Digital Teaching Competence, which were submitted to bibliometric and systemic analysis. The results allowed a holistic and in-depth view of the research object, identifying scientific recognition of the material through impact factors, expert authors on the subject, their institutional affiliation, gaps in research, as well as opportunities for future studies.
