Abstract

ABSTRACT Introduction: The Child Cerebral Palsy is the commonest cause of spasticity in children and the application of technical helps is an option to child functional deficit treatment. Objective: make a bibliographic research about the possibilities which exist nowadays to carry out an integrated rehabilitation of those functional deficits. Results: there are a wide variety of means as conservative as surgical that must be adapted to the characteristics of each patient; nevertheless, there must be an early analysis of the deficits in order to get a child motor development and his integration in a life which gets closer to the normality in the most possible way with a continuous and specific treatment. Discussion: there are authors who do not take into account the orthopodologycal measures as a treatment resource in their scientist article meanwhile others claim the effectiveness of the same getting better the functionality, decreasing the symptomatology and avoiding another associated problems. Conclusion: checked the effectiveness of the orthopaedic treatment in the handicaps and individualities of each child, we will reserve the surgical treatment in cases in which the conservative resources have failed or the most stringent cases of cerebral palsy.
