Abstract
The objectives were to evaluate, in litter deposition throughout the seasons of the year: (1) the influence of the position of litter traps and collected amount and; (2) the quantification of micronutrients for Eucalyptus dunnii. Over a year, litter-fall was fractioned in leaf, miscellaneous and coarse branches. The evaluation of the deposition of leaf and miscellaneous were done in litter traps disposes closed to average DBH trees, in the positions between rows, rows, diagonally and close to the trunk of the trees. In the evaluation of the deposition of coarse branches areas were centered around average DBH trees; average plus one standard deviation and average minus one standard deviation. In the different fractions of litter concentration Cu, Fe, Mn, Zn and B were analyzed, then inputs was calculated. Larger litter depositions were observed close to the tree trunks and deposition of coarse branches unrelated to diameter of the tress. Micronutrient input was influenced more by the amount of litter deposited than the concentration of micronutrients in the different fractions.
