Abstract

Synthetic strategies have been developed for the preparation of in-chain metallated oligonucleotides, in which the oligonucleotide sequence is interrupted by a metal-containing motif. In our work, oligopyridine metal-binding domains are used and approaches are outlined using both labile and non-labile metal centres. © Schweizerische Chemische Gesellschaft.
