Abstract

1) We have isolated an antibiotic-producing strain Streptomyces 1545. 2) This strain was identified with one of the variants of Streptomyces hygroscopicus and its antibiotic. was tentatively designated as “Hygroscopin”. © 1954, Japan Society for Bioscience, Biotechnology, and Agrochemistry.
