The composites of BaFe12O19 and TiO2 are prepared with sol-gel method. The imaginary parts of the relative complex permittivity and permeability, sublattice structure, and saturation magnetization of composites were measured with vector network analysis, Mössbauer spectroscopy, and vibrating sample magnetometry. The doping by TiO2 changes the sublattice structure of BaFe12O 19, and results in the quadrupole splitting and isomer shifts. The capabilities of dielectric and magnetic losses of BaFe12O 19 are improved. The effect of the doping by TiO2 on improving the energy absorption of BaFe12O19 is analyzed.
