Abstract

Although the Agency of Prayers of Rome was the channel through which flowed the expeditions beneficial, waivers and appeals marriage that were made to the Roman Curia, its study barely has aroused interest since Rafael Olaechea published his book in 1965. Therefore, in these pages I try to present a rough picture of this institution in the years of the late Seventeenth and early Eighteenth centuries, focusing on the figure of their general agent, namely, their manner of appointment, financial Sypport type of house and family, relations with the ambassador and business that he should attend.
