Abstract

To be competitive, companies must master the management of their production processes by designing a flexible, integrated, and intelligent Production System. Scheduling is one of the most difficult control functions to perform. It must consider random disruptions (failures, raw material shortages, quality defects...). In a dynamic scheduling, the production plan is generated automatically. It allows handling disruptions. The holonic architecture tackles the complexity and increase manufacturing system flexibility. It is used to achieve decentralized production control. In this paper we propose a Supervised and Distributed approach, based on holonic architecture, for the dynamic scheduling. A case study, applied to ENSAM-Meknes flexible workshop, is carried out to prove the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
