Abstract
Children's language development is an important part of children's cognitive development stages and has received a lot of attention in research studies. Many studies aim to describe the dominant factors that influence early childhood language development. This research uses the Systemic Literature Review (SLR) method. SLR aims to find out what has been found from previous research about a particular phenomenon, subject or topic. The articles used in this research were 21 national journal articles obtained from the Google Scholar database using the Harzing's Publish or Perish application. Based on the results of the study, it is known that from the description above it can be concluded that language development in early childhood is still relatively interesting to be used as a focus in research, especially in the last three years in accordance with the limitations of the research problem. Based on the study, it can be concluded that the factors that influence children's language development are parenting patterns, intelligence, external factors (such as gender and age) and environmental factors (society and the surrounding environment) and the dominant factor most often mentioned is family parenting with a percentage of 92.8%. A family pattern with democratic upbringing and providing children with comfort in learning accompanied by consistency in providing stimulus will help children to achieve optimal language development.
