Following 70 years of evolution magnetic ' drive pumps can now be treated as mature technology. Because of zero leakage they are environmentally sound and inherent safety benefits are excellent. Their selection and application is very well understood by the manufacturers and the experience gained over many years is considerable. They can be very cost effective due to their long, uninterrupted service life and now provide a real alternative to double sealed pumps.
