Abstract
Background: Pregnancy is a physiological condition accompanied by various changes, including psychological changes such as anxiety, especially in the period leading up to childbirth. One non-pharmacological method that can be used to reduce anxiety is hypnopregnancy. Objective: This study aims to determine the effect of hypnopregnancy on the anxiety levels of third-trimester pregnant women facing childbirth. Methods: The research design used was a quasi-experimental approach with a pre-test and post-test control group design. The sample consisted of 40 third-trimester pregnant women, divided into an intervention group and a control group. Sampling was conducted using the Lemeshow formula, and anxiety levels were measured using the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS). Data were analyzed using a paired t-test. Results: The results showed a significant decrease in anxiety levels in the group that received the hypnopregnancy intervention, while no significant change was found in the control group. Conclusion: It can be concluded that hypnopregnancy affects reducing anxiety levels in third-trimester pregnant women facing childbirth.
