Abstract

This paper investigates the use of new access equipment in the construction industry. Previously, access almost certainly meant scaffolding. Fast-tracking ushered in a new generation of access equipment - ranging from hydraulic booms to scissor lifts and mast climbers. This paper looks at some of the equipment which has revolutionized the access scene.
