Análisis Estadístico De Condiciones Hidrodinámicas En La Bahía De San Quintín, B.C. Verano De 1977.

Abstract

Bahia de San Quintin, B.C., forms an interesting ecosystem in which to develop aquaculture. In this bay, during the summer of 1977, observations of tides, currents, temperatures, salinities and winds were conducted. With this information, a unidimensional numerical model was applied to reproduce the hydrodynamics of the lagoon. The numerical model utilized turned out to be of little predictive value for this location, although similar calculated and observed values of water surface elevations and associated velocities were obtained.
