Abstract

Eleutherodactylus cooki, the "Coqui Guajon", is a frog endemic to the southeastern portion of the island of Puerto Rico. Due to highly specialized habitat requirements and limited range, Eleutherodactylus cooki is listed on the US Endangered Species List as Threatened. Several individuals of this species were observed during four herpetological surveys in the Icaco Valley within the ward of Mullas in Patillas, Puerto Rico. These observations expand the confirmed range of this species. © 2013 Check List and Authors.
