Abstract
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a continuing commitment of any business goals to societal values in corporate organizations. Many research literature in this field are inconclusive. This study attempts to examine the factors influencing in implementing CSR activities and their impact in financial performance of Indian corporate companies. The corporate, social and responsibility covers the relationship between organizations and their societies in which they interact. The sample size consist of 10 private companies in India selected based on the Economic Times ratings of 500 companies CSR 2019 in India. A self-structured questionnaire designed with the expert opinions circulated to the managers in the listed companies, 360 questionnaire relating to the study were sent to executives working in the firms. Out of 360 returned only 318 questionnaires received form the respondents. To find the 10 factors influencing the attitudes of managers working in private companies to implement the CSR activities. Therefore it is concluded that the four approaches like the ethical, the statist, the liberal, and the stakeholder approach need to be followed by Indian corporates.
