Abstract

The article examines the issues of increasing students motivation for independent work. The article considers presence of internal motivation among students to carry out independent educational and cognitive activities in the classroom on the discipline "Foreign language". The importance of e-learning, namely introduction of gamification elements into e-learning, courses is assessed. The necessity of using gamification to improve performance and motivation of students during the transition from traditional to distance learning is substantiated.
