Abstract
Four species were identified. One of which, Psychomyiellodes badalus n. sp. is a new species, and two P. dentatus and P. excavatus Kimmins were collected for the first time in West Africa. This study deals with the autoecology and the distribution of the species along the Mouhoun river over a distance of more than one thousand kilometers.
