Abstract

This theoretical article explores the fundamental characteristics of the underworld of cyberculture. The concept refers to processes and trends observed in the irreversible wake of violence against women on erotic websites operating in a legal vacuum. The theme is approached through a dual dimension: epistemological and empirical. The argumentation captures the socio-historical significance of the cyberculture underworld, focusing on its modus operandi and its multilateral consequences, ranging from structural disinformation to psychosocial implications. The results reveal a global architecture of impunity sustained by illegitimate contracts and fake news that appropriate progressive agendas. The reflection introduces new aspects to the topic, aiming to enrich previous studies and contribute to mitigating the harms of violence against women in cyberculture. It concludes that resistance requires transnational regulation, critical media literacy, and public policies prioritizing human rights.
