Abstract

Educational dropout is a problem faced by many countries especially in Latin America, economic factors, family disintegration and physical disabilities are the main factors that cause school dropout. In this sense, the governments of Latin American countries and especially in Ecuador must take the necessary actions to achieve educational inclusion. The purpose of this article is to show how technological tools help and support the teaching-learning processes for people with disabilities, favoring inclusion. To carry out this research, a bibliographic analysis was made according to the subject and an exploratory research of qualitative type, to know the opinion of the teachers about the benefits of using virtual platforms, for this purpose, a proposal for an interactive virtual platform was presented to the interviewees intended for teaching - learning for children with Down syndrome.
