Abstract

An updated procedure for calculating reference and crop evapotranspiration from meteorological data and crop coefficients is presented. This procedure, first presented in the FAO Irrigation and Drainage Paper No. 24 'Crop Water Requirements', is called the 'Kc ETo' approach.
