Analysis of banana shrinkage from Agrosft software

Abstract

Bananas and bananas are monocotyledonous plants belonging to the Musaceae family, order Zingiberales. This research aimed to analyze the data obtained in the Agrosf software to evaluate the production process of banana boxes from August to December 2022, specifically in the Hacienda Delia Francia. The study sample was the sheathed bunches from week 30 to week 40 and those harvested from week 42 to week 52 in 2022. The proposed methodology consisted of reducing calibration times, obtaining as the main result that a reduction in time implies a decrease in weight, which is not convenient to meet the demands of the international market.
