Abstract
Adverse cutaneous reactions to selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors are often mild but may nevertheless prompt drug cessation or switching, with potential loss or delay of desired therapeutic effects for depression and anxiety. This case notes article presents an example of sertraline-related pruritis for which a precipitating cause was identified, namely chocolate, and which resolved with simple lifestyle advice without the need to stop or change the medication.
