Guía metodológica para el diseño de un plan estratégico informático en instituciones de educación superior

Abstract

A methodological guide that consolidates the steps for designing a strategic information technology plan (SIT) in higher education institutions (HEI) is proposed. For this, a suitable and understandable structure that standardizes procedures and strategies needed to meet the needs of the HEI was designed. As an added value, the guide presents other interesting aspects such as outlining and simplifying the procedures required for the design of SIT, its adaptability and the minimization of time for implementing it. All this gave as a result a methodological guide that simplifies and determines the necessary phases to the design of SIT. The proposal standardizes the parameters for the design of SIT and stablishes the necessary requirements to perform tracking and control processes.
