Abstract
This paper describes the implementation of a Modelica library that is designed to enable fast composition and simulation of building heating, ventilation and air con- ditioning (HVAC) systems. The library is based on an approach which is focusing on the thermal behavior of the components. Compared to existing libraries, it has no information about the pressure of the system. This approach limits the applicability of the library, but de- creases the computational effort as well as the time to set up a model. Nonetheless, the simulation results are comparable to simple HVAC system models based on Modelica.Fluid . Keywords:
